Exceptional. Probably some of the best pizza we have ever had at extraordinarily reasonable prices (6-9 euros for a whole pizza). You could tell it was going to be good because a) nobody was soliciting us to come eat here by shoving menus in our face b) many locals were dining here, and a lot were taking food to go and c) the service was somewhat indifferent (probably because we are obviously tourists) rather than pushy and prodding. But who cares? The pizza was amazing. Just fantastic. Perfectly cooked and so tasty. Especially liked the “Forno” pizza stuffed with cheese and salami. Highly recommend this place. Don’t go to the tourist traps - meander a little off the beaten path and you’ll find a place like this. You won’t regret it.- Servizio

All around the best pizza and experience in Napoli. If you want a really good pizza in an off the path spot that is authentic, this is the place. In a great little walking street close to everything but not on the main drag. There were constantly locals walking up to pick a pizzas.

Five stars for this local Naples Pizza experience. Although not far from some typical tourist sites it was clearly a local restaurant appreciated by Neighbors as they came and went picking up pizza to take home. The pizza was excellent, the service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.

The food is great with high quality ingredients. I suggest to try also the “frittatine” which were really good. The service is fast and the guys are really nice. They even offered us a liquor at the end of dinner. A must in Naples.

Off the main street✔️ menu only in Italian ✔️ small selection of pizzas✔️ The basis criteria being met, this place was a no brainer to try out. And it was worth it! Salsiccia with Kale pizza was really good, friendly and fast service, and amazing flavor. Would recommend if youre in the area.

Seriously Life-Changing Bites in Napoli ❣️
Non ho parole, seriously ! I am beyond grateful for having chosen Pizzeria Nennella for lunch on my recent trip to Napoli. Knowing I had a long day ahead, I decided to stop by on my way to the hotel, arriving around noon just as they opened for lunch. I was the first one there, and what an experience it turned out to be!
I ordered one of their pizzas featuring mozzarella di bufala, and it arrived in no time at all. In my mind, I was expecting a simple pizza: dough, sauce, cheese. But what materialized before me was something made out of dreams: fresh, perfectly crafted dough, generously layered with creamy RICOTTA DI BUFALA, savory SALAME, then more dough, vibrant tomato sauce, melted cheese, and fresh basil.
Jesus take the wheel! was my immediate thought.
Despite how hot the pizza was, I honestly couldn't wait for that first bite. It was a truly life-changing culinary experience. Adding some rich olio di peperoncino was an absolutely amazing touch that elevated it even further.
Beyond the phenomenal food, the staff at Pizzeria Nennella were beyond wonderful. I felt incredibly taken care of throughout my visit. I cannot recommend this place enough and I eagerly look forward to returning to Naples and coming back for more of these life-changing bites!- Servizio

Some of the best pizzas we ever had! The street was also very nice, like the ones from the spanish quarter but wider and not so loud. We were served by the guy who made the pizza, really nice small place

Maria, The young girl who is part of the family is an amazing server. She was very hard-working. For the price the value was amazing. On a Saturday we were able to go right in and get a table. No problem in the height of season.

The most incredible pizza we’ve had in Naples and the people in the shop were incredibly nice too! We had a margarita and a burrata and we loved them both! Keep in mind they moved to a new location recently, right on the same street but closer down to via chiaia

We stumbled upon Pizzeria Nennella when on our trip from Scotland. I'm glad we did. The pizzeria is relatively small but had a lot of local people in it having lunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive and, most importantly the pizzas were delicious. A great find.

Local business for locals, very good price! Their best pizza is only 9 euro. People are welcoming and the pizza is fluffy and light, very high quality food for the locals that people like us can appreciate for a low price 😉 100x better than the tourist traps on main road ! Don't miss, also a bottle of high grade local wine is 10euro
